Sven is Director of Strategic Planning and PMO at Dubai Airports and has over 17 years of leadership experience in the aviation industry, having held several positions in different parts of the aviation ecosystem, such as airlines (Lufthansa, Saudia, Etihad), alliance management companies (Star Alliance) and airports (Dubai Airports). He has spent almost a decade in the Middle East mainly working on company transformations. As a son of a serial entrepreneur, he is also very interested in start-up businesses and the development of new business models in other industries. Born in Belgium, through his multinational career, he has lived in several countries in Europe, Middle East and Asia. He is the holder of an Executive MBA degree of INSEAD, a Master in Aviation of the National Aviation School/Toulouse Business School, and a Master in Economics of LUC Hasselt.
