Shukri is a technology and consulting veteran for over 20 years. Most recently, Shukri has been the Managing Director for the Gulf Region at Cisco helping to drive its digital agenda, competitive positioning, and business strategy. He is valued for building results-oriented and enthusiastic teams and has established himself as a thought leader and agent of change in fast-evolving, dynamic markets. He is known for his deliberate, strategic approach to complex challenges, his authenticity, and his people management skills.

In previous roles, Shukri was Senior Director at the Country Digitization Acceleration (CDA) team in EMEA working with government and industry leaders to accelerate the national digitization strategies. Prior to that, he led a diverse team of senior consulting professionals as Director of Cisco Consulting Services in Emerging Markets, and as Director of Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). Prior to Cisco, Shukri held senior roles at IBM Global Business Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led high-profile strategy and IT transformational engagements in the Middle East and North Africa.

Shukri is a member of the Board of Directors of Dubai International Chamber, and a member of the Global Council on SDG13 – Climate Action.

Shukri has a master’s degree in business administration from Strathclyde University, a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, and has tutored EMBA students on Exploring International Business Environment and Future Scenarios Planning.
