Samer is Head of Infrastructure and Energy Direct Investments at Al Muhaidib Group. He has been successful in leading business operations, directing teams, executing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional executives to improve internal operations, and partnering with global leaders to deliver superior investment outcomes using innovative and effective solutions in his time as a financial services executive. Samer has a history of creating and executing investment ventures (large institutions and start-up ventures in global money centers and emerging markets). Samer enjoys remedying complex emerging market business/funding challenges by focusing on areas of high economic impact, such as CleanTech, energy finance, private sector funding and FinTech. Samer previously worked at Citibank, Shuaa Capital, and Enerwhere. Samer received his Masters in Engineering from Cornell University and a MBA from MIT.
