Qais is the Senior Human Resource Consultant for the Government of Dubai. DGHR’s role is to lead the efforts of modernizing Governmental human resources and Aligning HR programs and initiatives with the Emirate’s strategic objectives and priorities as per Dubai Strategic Plan 2015. DGHR is involved in strategically managing and supporting the transformation of human resources through upgrading the regulatory and organizational structure of governmental HR, updating HR applications and practices, and directing and planning the process of building national capacities provides both transformation advice and operational support on strategic and change management initiatives. Prior to working for the Government of Dubai, Qais spent a considerable amount of time working in private sector management consulting for Arthur Anderson Business Consulting, EY, and Deloitte Middle East. Qais attended Vanier College before continuing on to receive his Masters in Marketing from Concordia University.
