Nicolas Murat is a Partner at Levant Capital, an independent, management-owned investment firm focused on making private equity investments in mid-sized companies with growth opportunities in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa. At Levant Capital, Mr. Murat is member of the firm’s investment committee and is focused on transaction execution and portfolio management. He is currently actively involved in the firm’s investments in Al-Raya For Food Stuff, Panço Kids, Power Horse Energy Drinks, PJ GCC Holdings, and Bayara. Prior to joining Levant Capital in 2008, Mr. Murat was a Vice President at JPMorgan in New York, where he advised on M&A and capital raising transactions for corporate clients and financial sponsors. He was previously with JPMorgan Capital, then a $4 billion private equity investment firm, after having begun his career in the investment banking division. Mr. Murat holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School.
