Marwan Dalloul started his career in New York City. He joined his family’s real estate business which consisted of a portfolio of assets across the US, Europe and the Middle East since 1983.
In 2010 Mr. Dalloul moved to the Middle East, and developed in Lebanon several real estate projects including a high-end furnished apartment building, a waterfront retail complex and a tech and accelerator hub. This tech and accelerator hub was the first of its kind in the region and helped ignite the tech movement in Beirut.
In 2011 Mr. Dalloul co-founded an F&B venture in Africa and brought US brands such as Domino’s Pizza, Coldstone Creamery and Pink Berry to Nigeria. In 2020, the platform expanded its coverage to several new markets across Africa.
In 2019 Mr. Dalloul established the Proptech Community and Proptech VC. The Proptech Community is a member platform to educate and engage the real estate community in the UAE about new advancements and technologies. Proptech VC is an early stage incubator that invests in emerging prop tech companies both locally and globally.
Mr. Dalloul holds bachelor’s degree from American University in Washington, DC. He then went on to receive a Master’s in Building Management from New York University. He also received a Master’s in Real Estate Development in 2002 and an MBA in 2008, both from Columbia University in New York City. In 2019 he received an Executive Leadership degree from London Business School.
Mr. Dalloul is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a member of the Young President Organization. He is Vice President of the Columbia University Alumni Chapter in Dubai, UAE.
