Ahmed is the Executive Director at Arqaam Capital, a specialist emerging markets investment bank established in 2007 to bring regional and international product offerings to emerging markets. Prior to that, Ahmed was Co-Head of Investment Banking at Cairo-based Beltone Financial with coverage and execution responsibilities across several sectors. Ahmed spent several years on the buy-side as a Senior Associate with Dubai based SHUAA Capital?s private equity department. Ahmed also spent time in Hong Kong and London as a member of JPMorgan?s Equity Capital Markets team, after starting his career in finance with the Corporate Finance Division of the Commercial International Investment Company in Cairo. Ahmed graduated with a degree in Architecture from Princeton University and received an MBA from New York University?s Stern School of Business, graduating with distinction.
