One of Cognitev’s products, AdRelated, is the world’s first semantic marketing platform focused purely on performance. It allows advertisers to show their ads to internet users engaging with content relevant to their business and helps publishers monetize their content with beautiful, native ads. Another Cognitev product is InstaScaler, an automated advertising platform for startups and small businesses.

About Moustafa

Born and raised in Cairo, Moustafa Mahmoud was a curious child and something of a boy genius. He started coding at age 10,  graduated from the Arab Academy for Science in Egypt at age 17 with a Computer Science degree and obtained a Master’s degree  in E-Commerce from the University of California, Berkley by age 22. He immediately put his skills to work as a Database and Sales Consultant for Oracle. Itching to create something of his own, in 2010, Moustafa founded Fadfadly, the Arab world’s first online confessional portal, which quickly became the top 20 most visited site in Egypt. He successfully exited the company in 2011 and went back to the corporate world, working at SAP, SAS and DELL for three years before his entrepreneurial antennae started flashing again. In 2013, he founded ShopShopME, the Middle East’s first shopping search engine that allows consumers to scan
and compare products from a number of online and offline stores on a single platform. After experiencing 80% month-on-month user growth, the “Google of Retail” was actually selected as the only startup from the GCC region to participate in Google For Entrepreneur’s Blackbox Connect accelerator program in Silicon Valley.
