Najla Al-Midfa

Najla Al-Midfa is the CEO of Sheraa (Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center). Najla is also the Founder of Khayarat, a social enterprise that enables Emirati students to make informed career choices and achieve success in the private sector. Najla was previously Senior Manager at the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, an AED 2 billion government fund to develop, finance, and support SMEs in the UAE. Prior to joining Khalifa Fund, Najla was a senior associate at McKinsey and Company‘s New York office, where she worked on a range of strategy-related projects, primarily serving clients across the financial institutions sector. Najla is a member of the Board of Directors of United Arab Bank, a board member of Sharjah Business Women Council and Young Arab Leaders, and a Founding Member of WomenCorporateDirectors (GCC Chapter). She is also a fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Middle East Leadership Initiative and member of the Aspen Institute’s Global Leadership Network. She received an MBA from Stanford University and a B.Sc. in computer science from the University of Bath.
